Barcelona leads with consecutive wins, Camp Nou renovation postponed

Barcelone mène avec des victoires consécutives, la rénovation du Camp Nou est reportée

FC Barcelona have had a strong run in La Liga recently, securing back-to-back key wins and consolidating their position as league leaders.

In the match on March 27, Barcelona beat Osasuna 3-0, achieving their 19th unbeaten game of the season and continuing to maintain the only unbeaten record in Europe's top five leagues.

Then, in the match against Girona on March 30, Barcelona won 4-1. Head coach Hansi Flick was pleased with his team's attacking performance, with particular praise for Robert Lewandowski's two goals. Lewandowski currently leads the La Liga scoring charts with 25 league goals.

However, the club is also facing challenges. The renovation of the Camp Nou stadium is progressing slowly and was originally scheduled for completion in November 2024. However, the latest news suggests that the completion date could be pushed back to October 2025, and the installation of the roof is expected to be delayed until the summer of 2026.

Despite this, Barça put in a great performance at their temporary stadium, the Olympic Stadium in Montjuïc, and continued their race for the league title.
