Araujo

Ronald Araujo was born on March 7, 1999, in Rivera, Uruguay, a city near the border with Brazil. Since childhood, he has shown incredible physical fitness and football talent.

Araujo was not originally a central defender, but started out as a striker. He displayed excellent offensive skills while playing in Uruguay's lower leagues, but as he grew and his physical condition changed, he gradually transformed into a defensive player. While playing for the Uruguayan team Boston River, his defensive talents began to emerge and attracted the attention of European teams.

In 2018, Araujo was discovered by Barcelona's scouting team and joined Barcelona's B team for a transfer fee of €1.8 million, officially embarking on his journey into European football.
